We got to play with the Burton family at a local park which was such an easy way of capturing memories of a family doing what they love to do. Everything was so relaxed and the day was beautiful.
Last autumn, I was very lucky to work with Amanda.
The photo below come from her senior photo shoot, which we did in October. Amanda was so fun and outgoing. She knew what she wanted and we were glad to work with her to produce her senior photo shoot.
This work was done on the campus of Sweet Briar college on a gorgeous day. We spent a lot of time touring the campus and the outcome was more than what we hoped for.
I am so blessed. I have a beautiful wife who allows me to use her as a model for a photoshoot.
Melissa graciously put up with me while I experimented with an number of looks and styles for an entire day.
We had a lot of fun taking pictures in many places in downtown Lynchburg and were both really pleased with how they turned out. As usual, only some of our favorites are included, but there were many.
We also wanted to say thank you to our dear friends who let us use their beautiful Morgan plus 4 for the car photos.
A local fire department is hosting an annual fundraiser and I immediately begin to feel nostalgic. I definitely appreciated the sights, sounds and smells of this fairground. Its just a shame that only the sights were recorded here! The experience of being there brought back memories of fairgrounds as a kid and the great times that I had there. Hopefully some of these shots do the same for you.
Here are a few of my favorites from a recent family photo shoot that took place in Downtown Lynchburg.
I truly feel honored when families place their trust in my ability to photograph them. We had a really fun night, even though the humidity made it quite sticky.
So here I am about to take the first step in making my serious hobby available for the world to see. I love love love taking pictures. I photograph friends and family members when I can because I love being a part of their lives and I love being able to share my talent with them. I'm just pleased they have the confidence in me to take pictures of them!
In the next few days I'll be uploading pictures from some photoshoots I have done for people in the past 18 months. Comments are greatly appreciated as I continue to learn, grow and develop. Hopefully some day I'll get to make my passion my job.
