Alternative blog

So I love photography, I have lost count of how many times I have said that on here. Our blog here primarily functions as a sneak peek location for our clients for images shortly after they have been shot. But we have created a site on Tumblr to showcase our favorite images that we have ever taken. Most are portraits, so if you are a previous client, you can look out for yourself in our archive posts, or future ones, so check back often! We also are using it so show the images we have taken that were inspired by our love of photography. One new image will be posted per day. We hope you enjoy it and always welcome the feedback.

Burch Wedding

So we have been very privileged to photograph Lauren and Chris for their engagement and wedding as well as the amazing Lauren for her bridal portraits. The big day was this past weekend and it was well worth the wait. Mother nature didn't play nice and some last minute changes went off without a problem at West Manor in Forest. Congratulations Chris and Lauren! We wish you all the very best in your future together.

Keith Family

So I have known Alissa and Josh for a while and have been honored to photograph their first two children shortly after each of their births. Their third one is 24-48 hours away and right before the birth of another Keith family member, they wanted to continue their tradition of a very special picture that they want to do and redo each time a new child joins the family and learns to walk. Burch Bridal

What fun we had with Lauren and her mom. We thought it was going to be hard to top the cat tail fights, remote control boats, fishing poles and hand made boats for Lauren and Chris' engagement session and we were wrong. Such a blast at this bridal session, which reminds me yet again why I love photography. I love getting to meet all of the personalities and truly awesome people who choose to get married and choose Solas Photography to document that day. Enjoy the photos Lauren. Easter

So, we love photography, that much must be obvious. Sometimes I think its important to show that we honestly are not far away from a camera, even when enjoying down time on a Sunday afternoon. So we decided to share a few images that were snapped when playing with our daughter in the front yard on Easter Sunday past. I love them. I love her. She's awesome :)
