Brittany Part II Sneak Peek

So we had an awesome time with Brittany on her senior shoot. A rain delay had postponed the session by a day, but it was worth the wait. The weather was gorgeous. The fall colors were mesmerizing and Brittany was a pleasure to work with had came to the session with a firm vision of what her senior portraits would look like. We were delighted to bring that to her.

Thanks Brittany! Hope you enjoyed the shoot as much as we did!

Darius goes west

So a cause that is very close to my heart is helping those with disabilities. An amazing movie was given to me this summer called Darius Goes West. It is an uplifting account of Darius, a teenager who has a form of Muscular Dystrophy that will take his life before he leaves his 20's. In an attempt to raise awareness about this challenge that confronts him every day, he made a documentary that won many independent film awards. The story follows his first trip outside of the county he grew up in across the nation to California where he was requesting that his wheelchair be used on the MTV show Pimp My Ride.

Proceeds from the sale of the movie go to Muscular Dystrophy studies where experts are quite sure they can find a cure for this disability in our lifetime. The link below will take you to the website where the entire feature length movie can be viewed for free. Please take the time to view it and learn about this inspirational young man and listen to his message.

My Goddaughter

So this is Barrett. I am honored to be her Godfather. I was going through my archives recently and came across these pictures I did a while ago of her birthday party. I have learned a lot about photography since then but I still love these pictures. She is getting so big now! Time is flying by so quickly, which I am very thankful for, especially since my wife and I are expecting our first child on April 4th. We are so excited and can't wait for that day to get here.

Brittany

Yet again, we have another awesome senior photo shoot that will have two parts. Brittany is an avid horse fan and wanted her trusty steed, Huckeberry for part of the shoot. He is due to be moved to his winter residence before our full shoot, so we did this earlier. Huckleberry loved the camera and kept doing what we needed him do before we even tried to! The rest of the shoot will be posted soon.
